Premium Japanese Shine Muscat grapes are larger than usual grapes, with an oval to oblong shape that grows in densely packed, medium-sized bunches. In vivid green, the skin is firm, smooth, and glossy. The jelly-like flesh under the surface is generally translucent, soft, watery, and seedless, however, some varieties may retain a few, small immature seeds.

The flesh is also aromatic and bears a semi-crisp, snap-like quality followed by a soft, tender consistency. Japanese Muscat grapes have high sugar content, averaging around 18 Brix, and are known for their sweet, floral flavour with apricot, mandarin, honey, and musky nuances.

STORAGE

Place your Shine Muscat grapes in the refrigerator as soon as they arrive. These grapes are usually well-packaged in plastic and can stay fresh for up to a week when stored in their original packaging in the fridge.
