Murcott mandarins has a smooth, yellow-orange coloured skin that is easy to peel. The Murcott mandarin is Australia’s second most produced mandarin variety and is well-known for its high quantities of sugar and juice. Because of their rich, red juicy flesh, and a sweet, honey-like flavour.
Oranges store well at room temperature for about 3 days. If you do not plan to eat them immediately, you should put the oranges in in the refrigerator where it can be stored for up to two weeks. However, long storage can cause the oranges to shrink and lose flavour.
Murcotts are a late-season variety, which means they will be at their peak freshness at the conclusion of the citrus season. Every fruit is inspected for eating quality before reaching the store.
