xThis local indoor kale is a versatile green with an earthy flavour that can be eaten raw or cooked. When cooked, kale is one of the few leafy greens that shrinks down significantly. It tastes good sautéed, roasted, stewed, or baked as kale crisps. Just be careful not to overcook it or it will become bitter. Raw kale is also often used in smoothies, drinks making it a great way to incorporate more healthy foods into your diet.
STORAGE
Wrap the leaves in a loose bundle in a paper towel or kitchen paper towel. Or place in the original sealable bag and keep in the crisper for up to a week.

You can use kale to make kale crisps, which are a healthy alternative to crisps and fries. Here is a kale chip recipe where you still get the "chip" enjoyment, but on a much better level, and you also get the nutritional benefits that kale has to offer!
1. Toss the kale leaves with a little oil and salt. Use your hands to make sure each piece is lightly and evenly coated with oil.
2. Cook for 4-5 minutes at 199°C in a single layer in a deep-frying basket.
