STORAGE

To determine if the Lioka Takami Muskmelon is ripe, gently press the bottom part of the fruit. When there is a slight give, it is ready to be enjoyed. If you have unripe melons, shield them from direct sunlight and ensure proper ventilation at room temperature until they ripen to perfection. Once fully ripened, transfer them to the refrigerator for storage. 

FUN FACTS & TIPS

When preparing the melon for serving, cut it in half lengthwise, remove the seeds, and proceed to further divide it into halves. Keep in mind that the sweetness gradually diminishes as you approach the skin. To evenly distribute the sweetness, gently insert a knife at the boundary between the flesh and the skin, then proceed to cut the melon lengthwise into bite-sized pieces.
