xPapple is a relatively new fruit to most people. They may look like an apple, but it is not one at all. It is best described as a pear disguised as an apple, which is a cross between European and Asian pears and has a red-orange colouring on a yellow background. It has the crisp and juicy texture of an Asian pear but the stronger flavour of a European pear.
STORAGE
Unlike the normal European pear, Papple is ready to eat and does not need to be ripened or softened. It also has a very long shelf life and stores well in a refrigerator.
