Has a golden matte surface and a crisp apple-like texture, with a modest sweetness and moderate astringency similar to Hachiya Japanese persimmon. If stored at room temperature, it will eventually ripen to a brownish colour, becoming soft and chewy with a thin crisp outer coating.
STORAGE
Yellow Barhi dates fruit should be eaten as soon as possible since they are much more perishable. They must be refrigerated to keep their crunch and flavour.
